Non-HIV Immune Person :(

CRISPR/Cas9 programmed with the CCR5-Δ32 mutation (the Vaccine) will enter the body in pill, shot, or liquid form.   

Once the CRISPR/Cas9 is inside a CD4+ cell, it will enter the nucleus and begin locating and cutting out the healthy CCR5 sequence.  It will then replace the missing nucleotides with the Δ32 mutation.

Once the CCR5-Δ32 mutation is active, HIV will not be able to gain access into the CD4+ cell.

The virus can no longer gain access to the Î”32 CD4+ cell and replicate itself. The person is now genetically immune to HIV.
