AKG Research was founded in 2013 by Aaron Hui. The team only includes three members: Aaron Hui, Kenny Bai, and Nicole Clarke.  We are dedicated to researching novel scientific techniques to help improve the life of others.

Our research has earned us the rank of National Top 500 Youth Research Teams by Toshiba, Inc and 2 Honorable Mentions in the ExploraVision science competition. In 2013, we hypothesized the medical biofoam- a foam that will instantly seal up a wound to prevent blood loss for soldiers. Then in 2014, we came up with this idea to immunize HIV. We've been investigating our HIV idea for the past 2 years, and for the first time, scientists at Temple University has recently taken an idea similar to the one presented here, and made the HIV Vaccine one step closer to reality.

In 2016, Aaron founded the AKG Research Foundation in order for more schools to participate in student research at locations such as San Marino CA, Temple City CA, and Los Angeles CA.
